Biography
From 1981 to 1997, Dr. R. W. R. Darling held various academic positions, culminating as a Full Professor at the University of South Florida, Tampa. He then joined the National Security Agency in Maryland, serving in the Mathematics Research Group from 1998 to retirement in 2026, most recently within the Statistics and Machine Learning Division.
His external publications and continuing research focus on scalable graph algorithms, stochastic networks, and categorical frameworks for access control in multi-agent systems.
